Contender Winner Mora Ready for Forrest Rematch

WBC jr middleweight champion Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora was all business when he conducted a light workout for the media last week at the Snake Pit Gym in Montebello, CA. Mora, the winner of season one of The Contender reality series, scored a majority decision over defending champion Vernon Forrest back in June 7th of this year to capture the WBC title. On September 13th, due to a rematch clause, Mora and former Forrest will do it again at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Mora-Forrest II is the co-feature for the Joel Casamayor vs. Juan Manuel Marquez showdown, which will be televised by HBO pay-per-view.
