Sam Peter is a Joke!

Sam Peter is probably the most overrated Heavyweight today. Even the media sees him as a saviour of the Heavyweight division because he beat a lethargic and old James Toney earlier this year. They said he improved his boxing skills in that fight. I say James Toney got old in that night, making Peter's performance look good. Blinded boxing fans say he is the one of the hardest hitters even though he has yet to KO a top ten, or even a top 20 Heavyweight. He KOs bums and nothing more. His boxing skill is still very avarage. He may have an improved jab but he still uses his illegal rabbit punches (punches to the back of the head). His defense is also pretty much lackluster as well as his stamina and they even saythat his chin is granite. Hell, even people will go as far as saying he is the 2nd best next to Wladimir Klitschko.
All of his hype came crashing down this past week as Jameel McCline dropped Peter 3 times. So much for his granite chin. Both guys looked slow as the rounds proceeded. Peter still won but the unanimous decision is very controversial. I scored it 113-112 for McCline but the darn judges saw it differently. Even two of the judges scored it 115-110 and 115-111 for Peter which is a sham. Peter should have been deducted for hitting McCline many times behind the head but the dumb referee never even warned him. He didn't even hurt McCline in the fight but he himself was dropped.
Many questions are raised quickly after his bout. Does he really hit hard? Where the hell is hell boxing skills? Where is the iron chin that the blinded boxing fans and media have been claiming? blah blah blah! It is just frustrating to see a guy like him holding a belt when he is devoid of skill and is very overrated. I say Wlad Klitschko stops him early if they ever fight again, a healthy Shannon Briggs will destroy him in 1 round, and he will be beaten handily by any skilled and/or powerful Heavyweight.
