The Boxing Weight Divisions Part 1

October 13th 2007 16:17
The way I see it, casual boxing fans just don't know how many weight divisions the sport of boxing actually has. Admittedly, I used to think that a Cruiserweight is lighter than a Lightweight. I even wondered what's the difference between a Flyweight and a Featherweight when these guys are already small and lighter than Lightweights. After following the sport more, I gained more knowledge about the sweet science at the same time learning about the 17 boxing weight divisions and the top guys in each weight class. I will list the all of them including the four champions in each weight division (though some of them holds 2 belts). Oh and by the way, this will be a 17-part daily post 'til I reach the Heavyweight division.
